
One of the oldest resorts in Ranthambhore, Tiger Moon Resort is a wildlife resort spread across 7 acres and located at the edge of the Ranthambhore National Park with a view of the Aravalli Hills in the distance. The resort offers cosy cottages with sloping tiled roofs interspersed with mango, amla and guava trees. Facilities and Services Tiger Moon Resort has a swimming pool, which is open till 10 pm and a children's park as well. Other facilities include a spa/health centre, Ayurvedic massage centre, library, conference room and a bar-be-que grill counter. The resort also organises nature walks, cultural nights, fort visits and transfers from the railway station on prior notice. Room Amenities Tiger Moon Resort offers 32 Cottage rooms, including 8 double storey cottages and 4 Luxury Tents. While all the Cottage rooms are air conditioned, the Luxury Tents do not have an air conditioner or a fan. The red brick and stone Cottage rooms have a private balcony and sit out area. The Luxury Tents are semi-permanent with cemented floors. The interiors of both the Cottage rooms and Luxury Tents include double or twin beds with side tables and chairs around coffee table, all in cane wood. There is also has an open closet and a dressing area. In room amenities include an intercom telephone. The attached washrooms of the Cottage rooms and Luxury Tents have a shower area along with amenities like shampoo and soap provided for. There is also a small instant geyser installed. Dining Tiger Moon Resort does not offer room service. A stone building with large glass windows serves as the dining hall. Wrought iron chairs and tables in clusters are complemented with pictures of the forest and tigers on the walls. Wet Pugs is the resort's bar with a granite counter and scattered bar stools. Liquor is served here along with flavoured 'sheesha' or 'hookah'. Together, the restaurant and bar can accommodate around 75 guests. During season time, the resort operates a roof top bar with traditional cot style seating depicting the local way of life. Please note: If you require the hotel to book a jungle safari for you, please provide details of all guests (Guest name / ID number (Passport / Driving License / Pan Card) / Age / Nationality) at the time of hotel booking to facilitate timely booking of the safari. Note: During Monsoons though the core area of Ranthambhore National Parks remains closed. However, adjoining Sanctuaries & buffer Zones remain open for Safaris.
