Ravana Ella Falls: This is the first place to visit when you reach Ella. The picturesque waterfalls serve as the ideal hangout for groups of travelers and are also known to be one of the best photography spots in Sri Lanka. Encasing the falls is a thick forest cover with lush greenery all around you placing you right in nature's lap.

Newburgh Green Tea Factory: Owned by Finlay's, the tea factory is just a short walk away from town giving you a chance to indulge in some organic tea tasting and also a good look at tea processing with guided tours through the surrounding beautiful and well spread out tea plantations.

Little Adam's Peak : By far the most scenic spot in Ella which serves as an ideal picnic, trekking and hangout spot for travelers and locals. The peak gives you a breathtaking view of the town as well as the surrounding districts. The peak is nothing less than photographer's paradise.
Take a trek to Ella's rock. While on the trek you get an excellent view of the hill side, while passing through some stunning tea plantations.
