Monsoon Forest Umaria

A conservation oriented jungle retreat set in ten acres of the reforestation project, Monsoon Forest is located near Village Tala, Bandhavgarh. The lodge is conveniently connected by air and train from Delhi, Mumbai and Bhopal.

It can be reached via charter flights to Umaria Airport (32km) and a charter helicopter service directly to Bandhavgarh. The lodge is just 4 minute drive from the Tiger reserve. 

Hotel Facilities Nature lovers can have great time at Monsoon Forest, enjoying nature walks, bird watching, jeep safaris with experienced naturalists, elephant safaris and excursion to Bandhavgarh Fort.

The lodge has facilities like library, wildlife art gallery, safari shop, television room, and services of a masseur, laundry service, parking facility, swimming pool, transfer from railway station, massage, nursery of native flora, in-house naturalist, cooking classes, organic vegetable nursery. 

Room Amenities The lodge has a set of six nests (cottages) and six peaceful safari tents, each set under the shade of Mahua trees. These are equipped with air-conditioners / fans, heaters, safari furniture, wooden and stone floors, twin and double beds, and en-suite bathrooms with modern amenities. 

Dining Facility The kitchens at the lodge offer a blend of home-cooked Indian and Western food. Meals are served inside the dining room and at the main lodge, and at times around a bonfire (depending on the weather and time of day).
