Originally the house of Mehr Chand Mahajan, the first Chief Justice of India, Hotel Grace is a heritage property about 200 years old, which started operation from 2003 as a full fledged hotel. The hotel is a pretty red building barricaded on all sides by beautiful pine trees. A small yet striking lawn greets you at the threshold of the courtyard. Once inside, the beauty of the priceless objects amazes you. The lobby is a treasure house of heritage objects - chests, lamp holders, photo frames, vases, drawers, furniture and even the door frames! All these objects interposed with each other create a rich atmosphere. The chairs and sofas placed in the lobby have many a stories to tell and one can spend hours sitting here glazing from picture to picture - of Maharajas and Maharanis from their days of joyful youth till their hair turned grey.
Hotel Facilities Hotel Grace has a meditation room with a well qualified trainer - to give classes to the guests, a doctor and beautician on call, laundry and dry cleaning facility, parking facility and trekking facilities (on request). The hotel offers room service as well.

Room Amenities Hotel Grace has 17 Deluxe rooms, all of which are differently designed and decorated. All of these rooms are a continuation of the lobby, some with chandeliers, some with 'jharokha' and some with antique styled lamp shades, urns or other decorative items. Some of the rooms have balcony, while some rooms are bigger and others are both. The amenities in the room include tea and coffee maker, antique furniture, satellite television, intercom and a luggage rack and a cupboard. Please note that room heaters are provided at an extra cost.
Dining The dining hall is located in the basement and is also a repository of antiquities. The low lying ceiling, wooden panelling and stone walls are 200 years old and the original structure has been maintained till date with a little reconstruction here and there. Even here, there are beautiful chandeliers and pictures on the wall. A fireplace with a wooden mantle and beautiful mantle piece hold the centre of attraction here. The furniture here has been neatly arranged adding a classy touch to it. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and specialises in India, Chinese, Continental, Tibetan and local cuisines.
