Once you arrive at Mount Abu, head toward the Nakki lake via MDR 60. Look for the polo ground on your left past the police station. Turn right on Rajendra road opposite the grounds. Further ahead at the right hand curve is the WelcomHeritage Connaught House.

Nakki lake is surrounded by hills and parks. A major tourist attraction is the collection of rock formations named after animals that they very closely resemble.

Adhar Devi Temple is 3 kms north of the town, is an ancient Durga temple built in a natural cleft in a rock. The location offers excellent views of Mount Abu.

The main attraction of Abu, the Dilwara Jain temples rank amongst the finest specimens of Jain architecture in India.

Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University & Museum - The Brahma Kumaris hold that all religions lead to God and are therefore equally valid. The University's stated aim is the establishment of universal peace through spiritual knowledge and training of yoga & meditation.

Guru Shikhar, 15 km from Abu is the highest point in Rajasthan at 1721m. 8 kms from the town, the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary harbours panthers, sambars, wildboars and birds.
