Overview
- Join us for a special half a day experience to learn more about the Lifestart Foundation and to enjoy our traditional Vietnamese painting & lantern making classes.
- You will receive a unique insight into the needs of disabled and disadventaged people in Vietnam and learn how you can make a difference.
- There are many tours in Hoi An, but what makes us DIFFERENT is that we are a not for profit charity. Your participation will help to fund Lifestart Foundation philanthropic projects in Vietnam.
Description
PLEASE NOTE:
? The tour runs from 9-12:00 or from 2-5:00 pm.
? We require a minimum of two participants to run the tour. We will have to cancel if there is only one.
? The minimum age of participants is 10 years old.
? Tours do not run during the Tet holiday.
Traditional Painting Class
You will have lots of fun in our traditional painting classes offered by our Lifestart Foundation recipient and local artist, Sinh Trong. Take your own handmade card home as a souvenir for friends and family!
Lantern Making Class
Learn how to make your own miniature Hoi An lantern taught by our workshop staff. Take your unique lantern home as a memory of your time spent at the Lifestart Foundation.
A visit to the Lifestart Foundation guarantees an authentic and memorable cultural exchange as well as an opportunity to learn about the organisation. Meet with its members and see firsthand how our products are made.
Sample Schedule
9:00 am ? Meet at the Lifestart Foundation Workshop at 14 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An, Quang Nam, Vietnam
Enjoy a brief stroll and a magical boat trip with our local staff and learn about life in Hoi An (in the event of inclement weather, taxis can be provided at an additional cost)
9:20 am ? Traditional Painting Class (located at The Lighthouse)
10:30 am? Return to the Lifestart Foundation Workshop for your Lantern Making Class
11:45 pm? An opportunity to find out how the Lifestart Foundation is helping people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Meet the makers and see how their products are made.
12:00 pm ? Tour ends. We?ll be happy to introduce you to a good restaurant where you can taste some local specialties.
