We then wind our way into the mountains - this is what motorbike touring is all about! Travel along quiet roads, enjoying breathtaking sites at every turn with plenty of chances to stop for photos. Visit one of the few remaining Ka Tu woodcarvers.fter a long and thrilling first day?s adventure we head for home ? a small family run guest house in the heart of the minority hill tribe?s main town, with a choice of a home cooked dinner or the opportunity to dine with the locals for a delicious feast of authentic hill tribe fare. (110km).
We begin our final day over hot coffee and a family breakfast as the town comes to life, busy local markets trading to far flung Ka Tu villagers descending from the mountains to stock up on supplies creating a vibrant backdrop as we jump back on our bikes for our final adventure.
