Description
You will meet our tour guide and driver at our hotel then leave Hoi An for the world heritage of My Son by an air conditioned minibus at 07:30 and arrive there after 1 hour. Start exploring the temples and towers here 1+1/2 hours with our English speaking tour guide, taking photos of beautiful surroundings and the site itself , then enjoy the Cham dance performed at a small indoor theatre before getting on the minibus and drive to the local market to buy and learn the ingredients for our cooking class on board. This is the very good opportunity for us to experience the colorful local market, interact with local buyers and sellers.
Make a visit to the pottery village of Thanh Ha observing the steps of making a pottery product: vase, pot, kettle, cooking pot. Get on board at 12:30. Another experience begins as we board the Cinnamon Cruises, one of the hosts will seat us at our private table. Relax with a beverage, some snack and we are all treated to an herbal foot massage. Participating in the cooking class on board after we get refreshed. Be sure to bring along our camera to capture the spectacular monument views while cruising back to Hoi An.
The cooking lesson runs for 2 hours and we will cook the same dish ourselves after the Cinnamon Cruises chef demonstrate each dish. We sit down at our private tables and eat what we have cooked. After the meal, we cruise back to Hoai riverside and on our return to the Cinnamon Cruises pier, the crew will wish us farewell. The tour ends around 14:30 and we can spend the rest of our day to visit Hoi An or do shopping.
* Note:
Why do we depart at 07:30 ?
The tour buses often depart at 8:15 so, there will be a crowd at the site which isn't that big and it isn't really possible to get away from the crowd and all the people wandering around detracted from the atmosphere of the place somewhat.
