Taking over a quarter of New Hampshire and a chunk of Western Maine, the White Mountains are a humongous mountain range encompassing several mountains with 'Mount Washington' being the highest (standing up to around 1917 metres tall). Being a wonderland to serious hikers, you can see the Whites dotted with numerous alpine huts at different altitudes on the range, to satisfy your post-hike thirsts. An ideal time to visit would be mid October. Catch a valley train from North Conway Station to capture breathtaking views of the Whites. Indulge in a range of activities like maple sugaring, day hiking or hop into a helicopter to witness the best of the Whites! From a distance, the Whites are often mistook for clouds!
