Back in the day, before Vegas took over as the gambling capital of the United States, Reno was the main gambling centre. However, it still continues to attract plenty of tourists, especially from the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento. It is also known as 'The Biggest Little City in the World' and has much more to offer than casinos.
Reno also has a number of outdoor and indoor activities for its visitors to enjoy. One can go mountain climbing, biking, fishing, skiing and camping, or pay a visit to the beautiful Lake Tahoe which is just there.
