Land's end
The farthest point of the estate is a wondrous spot with two large terraces under the shade of
an old pine, and a magnificent vista running down a series of valleys all
the way to the plains (on a clear day). A tranquil haven to have a beer,
enjoy a meal, read a book, and watch the vast valley hum with dinky
vehicles. Or you could choose to have a hearty bonfire and party for as many as twenty people.
Watering Hole
From Land's End walk down to a magical waterpoint under an old cork tree, where animals come to drink water during night times, including the panther that pays occasional visits. Seclusion that is ideal for a drink as you find yourself lost in day dreams. You could read, listen to music, or just enjoy its breath taking beauty. Continue walking down the path and you will be back to Charbagh, that is in front of the house.
Machan
Choose to watch the eagles glide or listlessly observe the buses creaking
their way up on the snaking mountain roads. Rising thirty feet above
the highest point on the estate, the 15 x 12 ft Machan makes your spirits soar as you take in the uninterrupted 360 degree view of the mountains
and valleys that envelope Machan.
Game Shed
Enjoy a game of pool or ping pong; watch your favorite sport or an old classic (you could also choose a new movie). The warm and completely wooded shed that houses TV and all games has the ambiance of an old clubhouse where you can unwind and rejoice.
Reading room
An erst-while reading-room that is lined with books and comfortable furniture. Just the place to read a book with a drink by your
side. Adjoining the Olive courtyard, this room takes you back to a by-gone era.
The Grand room
This is at the heart of the house, on the ground floor and includes the dining room and living room with original fireplaces beneath old rafters. Sit at the bar, idle around the fireplace or have a hearty meal with family at the high table. The grand room, warm in winter and cool in summer, invokes languor that leaches away stress and radiates peace.
