Location The hotel is located in the Bani Park area, right behind the Central Bus Stand, and is 1 km from the Jaipur Railway Station, and 12 kilometers from the Airport. The downtown business center and the old walled Pink City are within a one-kilometer radius of the hotel. Sugan Niwas Palace is a boutique heritage hotel set in a lush landscaped garden on a plot area of 4000 square yards. A beautiful 40 year old colonial house converted into a hotel, it is truly a heritage boutique hotel. With a stately white structure and manicured garden in front, it's an ideal retreat for those in search of a luxurious experience. A short driveway leads to the lobby entrance which has two cannons placed strategically. Inside, the lobby is elegantly furnished with plush sofas and has a glass wall on one side that overlooks the garden in front. The lavish interiors form a sort of theme at the hotel and all rooms as well as common sit-outs are similarly furnished, creating an aura of colonial stateliness.
Facilities and Services Conferences and banquets for up to 500 guests can be arranged in the extensive lawns of the hotel. Business facilities include a computer, scanner, fax machine, photo copier and secretarial services. For recreation, each floor of the hotel has numerous sit-outs that offer a splendid view of the garden in front. One can also lounge in the meticulously maintained garden The hotel has an in-house souvenir shop called Treasure Trove where all sorts of paintings, garments and local art and handicraft items are available. Services of barber, masseur, astrologer, palmist and baby sitter are on call and can be arranged on request. The hotel also organises camel safaris, elephant safaris and sightseeing tours with local multilingual guides. Room Amenities The hotel offers luxurious accommodation in 18 rooms that categorised as Standard, Deluxe, Superior and Suites. Each room is appointed with a television, telephone, sofas, study table and air conditioner. In addition, the suites have a separate living room and are equipped with amenities like a refrigerator and a footrest placed against the four poster double bed. Some rooms are in duplex style while others boast of individual balconies. Washroom amenities are common across categories and include soap, shampoo, talcum powder and linen. Each washroom is fitted with a geyser to ensure that guests can get hot water as per their convenience.
Dining Dining at Sugan Niwas Palace is a delightful experience. Saffron, the bistro at the hotel is elegantly furnished and serves sumptuous delicacies from Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines. While a lavish buffet spread is served for groups, guests can enjoy an a la carte menu at all times.
