The 50 Mile Diet-
Take heart, you do not need to walk 50 miles to lunch. It just meas that everything that is cooked has been resourced in a 50 mile radius so as to reduce the carbon footprint in terms of transportation. Also, the good bit of the food comes from about 50 yards, which is the freshly home grown vegetables which are used in preparing the wholesome and delicious food that you get to gobble on.

The Woodhouse Bar was earlier the home of the forest ranger A.A Woods. There's a billiards table and a library for the avid readers who are interested in acquainting themselves with the Periyar. You can almost see Woods himself, gin-and-tonic in hand, grumpily calling out for a refill.
