- By Road: From Singapore, you can rent a car or hire a taxi to take you to Sentosa Island. With the island becoming a tourism hub over the years, the government has invested in an expansive sea-link connecting the island to the mainland. There does remain a small road tax of $2-7 to enter and leave the island, whether by private car or taxi.
- By Rail: The Singapore MRT is the cheapest and most efficient way to get to Sentosa. Hop onto any of the metro stations lining the city and find yourself quickly on your way to the island via the Sentosa Express. But remember, the metro services close at 11:45pm everyday, so any trips via metro must be planned in advance.
- By Ferry: At the Harbourfront Center, one can find cheap - but limited - ferry rides to Sentosa.
- The Boardwalk: Quite recently, the unthinkable has become possible; you and your family - if willing - can walk to Sentosa Island via the Sentosa Boardwalk (a route that will take you a minimum of 45 mins) from VivoCity Shopping Mall. Designed for hikers everywhere, the boardwalk features various lookout points and boasts epicurean landscapes that mimic the actual island.
- By Cable Car: The most scenic route, heading to the island via a cable car will gift you a bird's view of everything the island is and has to offer. After alighting the metro at the Harbourfront Center, head to the top of Harbourfront Tower II, where you will find the ticketing counters for the cable car to Sentosa.
