Cellular Jail: Known to play the role of a mini-Alcatraz once upon a time for the British who jailed many political prisoners here with repeated torture and executions making the prison facility highly infamous. The jail ,today, is a monument which is open for sight seeing with guided tours and a wonderful Sound&Light show during the week.
Corbyn's Cave: A well known beach close to the city. Good for some relaxing swims while watching the sun go down followed by a good evening of fine Wine&Dine with some of the restaurants there.
Anthropological Museum: A well known museum which is open for most of the week housing various artefacts and manuscripts which detail the history of the Andaman & Nicobar region
Ross Island : Previously an administrative capital of the islands. The island has many building from the colonial period which are in ruins and have great heritage value to the region. The island is ideal for nature freaks who love some photography ,treks and bird watching.
North Bay : The island is the home of water sports in the region where you can indulge yourself in Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Paragliding and Jet-Skiing.
Jolly Buoy: For snorkeling fanatics, this is the place to be. The place can be reached by ferry easily and it has some of the best underwater coral spreads in the region.Mandalay Restaurant: Located at the Fortune resort, the restaurant is set in a scenic spot and is well known for delicious cuisine and a fine menu of cocktails.
Lighthouse Residency: One of the most popular and crowded restaurants in Port Blair running a packed house for most of the year. Known to serve some excellent Thai , Chinese and Indian delicacies. The place even has it's own bar, ideal for tourists and travelers as they can enjoy some fine brew along with a good, hearty meal.
Gagan Restaurant: A restaurant which is well known for it's authentic Bengali cuisine and other delicacies at reasonable rates. One of the popular places in Port Blair.
Aberdeen Bazaar: A well known crowded market place in Port Blair where you find a wide range articles and supplies right from food to clothing to souvenirs ,handicrafts and books.
Samudrika : A well known government emporium which sells some authentic local goods manufactured along the traditional styles.
Sagarika : Along with the Samudrika, the Sagarika completed the duo of government emporiums in the city which sell traditional handicrafts, textiles, books as well as souvenirs.
