Treks: Trekking is one of the most popular activities here ,with treks available to the Aru Valley as well as the Kolahoi Glacier

Amarnath Yatra: The country's well known summer pilgrimage to the Shiv Lingam which runs during the months of June and July starts here in Pahalgam

Pony Rides to Baisaran: The town's well known for it's pony rides that can take you around the town through some of the ridges and forest trails and to the scenic meadowy region of Baisaran. They are available with the service of a guide.

Water Rafting: The town is well known for it's water rafting trips along the Lidder River which also gives a breathtaking view of the forest cover and ridges that fold around the rapids.

Dana Pani: An exclusive Vegetarian joint which is known for serving sumptuous meals and North Indian as well as South Indian delicacies at reasonable prices.
