Day 01 KUALA LUMPUR - TAMAN NEGARA
TAMAN NEGARA NATIONAL PARK CONSERVATIORE
ITINERARY:
06:30 - After Breakfast at your hotel, depart for Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara... Enroute (4 hours drive)
*FREE BATU CAVES TOUR - a Limestone outcrop. The 272 steps climb into the Caves will take us to the Temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam (aka Lord Murugan). He is honored during the Hindu Festival of THAIPUSAM in January or February every year. The 140 feet Statue of the Deity is an attraction of majestic undertaking.
(Note: Decent attire is mandatory for Ladies entering the Temple proper).
11:00 - On arrival at Kuala Tahan, activities begin....
> CANOPY WALKWAY - at 530 meters in length is the longest in South East Asia and you will get a bird's eye view of the World's Oldest Rainforest. View a screaming scenery of Nature at its unspoilt best........
> JUNGLE TREKKING TO THE TERESEK HILLS - Trekking takes you closer to the different species of flora. > ABORIGINE VILLAGE (ORANG ASLI) are of the Batek tribe who have been living environment-friendly lives. The Rainforest is their Supermarket where they get their life's necessities. They have things secret and things taboo. You will get an insight of their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. A demonstration awaits you!

Day 02 TAMAN NEGARA - CAMERON HIGHLANDS
CAMERON HIGHLANDS
Known for its Farmlands, Tea Plantations, Orchards, Nurseries, Waterfalls, Rivers, Lakes, Wildlife, Mossy Forest, Golf Courses, Places of Worship, Bungalows, Land Rovers, not forgetting the Orang Asli (Aborigines). Some of them are still jungle dwellers whereas some have left for the nearby towns.
ITINERARY
08:00 - After Breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart for Cameron Highlands (4 hours drive).
12:00 - Lunch and tour of the Camerons.
> TEA PLANTATION - The BOH TEA Plantation works closely with the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) and MNS (Malaysian Nature Society) in the conservation of the Elephants and the Orang Utan in Malaysia. You could be a contributing Conservationist if you patronise the Tea Showroom and the Tea Cafe. Teas sold are from Green Tea to Flavoured and Fruity tea.
Note: Factory Tour is available everyday except Mondays.
> BUTTERFLY FARM & INSECTARIUM - is a secret Paradise where 5,000 odd butterflies dance on ferns and scented flowers. The landscaped gardens, exotic plants, fresh water turtles and the many insects are a thriller.

DAY 03 CAMERON HIGHLANDS - PENANG

GEORGETOWN, Got its name from Britain's King George III and it is a Multi Cultural Heritage and Trading Port. It was founded by Sir Francis Light in 1786 and he first landed at Fort Cornwallis.
THE TRISHAW RIDE, The Trishaw ride is a good way to feel the sights and sound of Georgetown .
FORT CORNWALLIS, Was built by Sir Francis Light. He used convict labour and the Fort was built as a defense facility against Pirates and other enemies. It got its name from the Governor of Bengal.
THE RECLINING BUDDHA, This Temple was built by a Buddhist Monk from Thailand after acquiring land from the British in 1845. The Reclining Buddha is 33 meters in length and is Gold Plated. The urns at the back of the Temple belong to Dead devotees.
KHOO KONGSI, The Khoo Kongsi Temple is the largest Khoo Clan Association. The Straits Khoos were very wealthy business people who built this Temple/Association to cater for the education and financial needs of the Clan.
THE CLAN JETTIES, the most famous and tourist-friendly being the CHEW Jetty. It comprises of wooden houses on stilts and planked walkway built over water - a picturesque fishing village.
