06:30 - After Breakfast at your hotel, depart for Kuala Tahan. En route:
10:30 - On arrival at Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara, activities begin...... as in:
1. CANOPY WALKWAY
At 530 meters in length is the longest in South East Asia and you will get a bird's eye view of the World's Oldest Rain forest. View a screaming scenery of Nature at its unspoilt best.
2. JUNGLE TREKKING TO THE TERESEK HILLS
Trekking takes you closer to the different species of flora. The experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and fancies about Flora and Fauna in Taman Negara. He will uncover the secrets of Forest. Packed Lunch in the Forest. Bring insect repellents and good walking shoes.
You may be LUCKY if you get to see the lesser animals like the flying fox, Monkeys, Birds etc....
But if you see a Tiger, we ain't sure who is LUCKY?
3. RAPIDS SHOOTING
Is a thrill, as the Boatman negotiates 7 sets of Rapids and you get the "chance" to get wet.
Bring along extra changing clothes.
4. ABORIGINE VILLAGE (ORANG ASLI)
Are of the Batek tribe who have been living environment-friendly lives.The Rain forest is their Supermarket where they get their life's necessities.
They have things secret and things taboo. You will get an insight of their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques.
16:00 - Return to Floating Cafe, freshen up and depart for Kuala Lumpur arriving approx. 20:00

19:00 - Dinner at the Floating Cafe as the sun sets........

Observation hides have been built near wildlife frequented salt licks for you to watch from a distance.
Please bring along insect repellants, good walking shoes, rain coat and torch light with extra batteries to join the nature guide in the hunt for mouse deer, owls, snakes, insects, spiders, scorpions.... Dress code for nite jungle walk : long pants and long sleeved shirt. The rains love the rainforest
22:00 - Depart for Kuala Lumpur arriving approx. 1 am.
Note: The Chauffeur-Guide has had enough rest and you can go to sleep in the vehicle as he drives you back to Kuala Lumpur safe and sound.

Since I didn't expect to have the free tour to Budd-Sheung, so I believe the whole itinerary was delayed by part of this reason. However, the arrangement of content was quite good. The van driver and trekking guide was fun and experienced.
I would recommend to shorten the trekking time to 2/3 so some ladies could be more enjoyable. Packed lunch is better to be fruits or energy bars....to balance the diet n losing sweat :)
