PROGRAM:
The visit to the Elephant sanctuary is a must when you visit Kuala Lumpur. Under the care of the Malaysia Wildlife Society, the sanctuary located in Kuala Gandah, creates a natural environment for the elephants rescued by our forest rangers for rehabilitation and nursing before they are released back into the wilds. On arrival at the sanctuary, we will proceed to view an
introductory video of the ?elephant sanctuary? for you to understand indepth the purpose of this setup. You will have the opportunity to see the elephants roaming in the sanctuary but you will not be allowed to go near them as the authorities want to minimise the close interaction/contact between human and elephants. You will have the opportunity to watch the ?elephant feeding? show normally held in the afternoon. There will be earlier stops at Deer Land* and Aborigine Settlement before the Elephant Sanctuary. Local lunch and soft drinks are provided.
