Description
Unlike usual colourful and cultural tourist attractions, this tour is an eye-opening experience about Cambodia's grim history. Start this trip when your tour guide picks you up from your hotel, and takes you to your first destination, Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. This was a former high school, that became the Khmer rouge torture centre, where countless of people were killed.

Retrace the footsteps of locals in the 1970s, as your guide narrates a heart-breaking history of this place. Checkout where journalists camped on the eve of the Khmer Rouge takeover before heading over to Choueng Ek Memorial, where a pagoda made up of some 8,000 human skulls marks the site of one of the infamous Killing Fields. End off your day by savouring some Khmer snacks then head back to your hotel.

*Pick-up and drop-off at centrally located hotels in Phnom Penh.
Included: entrance fees to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and Choueng Ek Killing Field, local English speaking guide, transport (air conditioned vehicle), Khmer snacks.
