Overview
Kedakal Estate, nestled within our coffee plantation is a boutique homestay embraces the history of a bungalow built in the 1900's.It is situated close to a small town called Suntikoppa, near Madikeri.
 
Kedakal previously known as Kedukal, was first owned by British Messrs.The property is about 3400ft above sea level.The land was cleared of jungle and coffee was cultivated in the year 1900.
The bungalow in Kedakal sits in the midst of a beautiful coffee plantation.The ripe 'cherry' was pulped by hand power on the estate.

Kedakal Estate takes pride in hosting guests and see them return with a unique experience and an amazingly relaxed time. They welcome you to their home stay which is part of the history and heritage that are proud to share with you!
Facilities
Kedakal Estate offer various facilities to all the guests in order to have a relaxed time and experience the rich heritage of the history over there

Rooms : The Kedakal Home stay is a 4 bedroom bungalow of which 3 bedrooms are dedicated to the guests. The rooms are Clean and well furnished and hot water is provided.

Dining :
The food we provide is simple, homely and delicious. Indian food leaning more towards Malabari cuisine is our speciality. You can let them know your food preference (veg/ non-veg). They will then provide the marinated food at an extra cost wherein you can experience barbecuing by yourselves at the poolside which is set up for you.

Swimming Pool : There is a beautiful swimming pool in the estate where you can chill yourself.




Activities
Activities refreshes a person from daily routines and energizes them. There are variety of activities being conducted at Kedakal Estate.

-Relaxing in the Jaccuzi
-Lazing on the hammock

Getting there
By Bus : For those who prefer to take public transport, buses are an option. There are plenty of KSRTC Airavath services available for a comfortable ride.

By Train :
There is no railway station in Coorg. Nearest railway station is in Mysore.

By Air :
Nearest airport is situated in Mangalore.

Driving Directions
From Bangalore ( Distance-250kms)
Bangalore - Ramanagaram - Mandya - Srirangapatna - Mysore (Take ring road to Right) - Hunsur - Periapatna - Kushalnagar - Suntikoppa .
Drive past Suntikoppa town for about 5 Kms towards Madikeri. Take the first left from the national highway after you see the sign board for Forest Flower. Drive for close to 400 mts and you will find Kedakal estate gate to your left. Once you enter the gate, path on the left to reach Kedakal.

The most common route taken by tourists from Chennai or Hyderabad is via Bangalore.
