In this traditional Balinese cooking class you will also be learning about where the food comes from, before you begin your class you?ll get to visit a traditional market to see and learn about the daily activity in selecting local fruits, vegetables and spices that used in your cooking class.
While doing this you will also learn about the complex irrigation system, called ?Subak? that is used in the rice paddy fields along the way. This system has been used for hundreds of years and is crucial for the islands survival.
You will be welcomed into a traditional Balinese compound with a beautiful setting overlooking a deep ravine complete with organically grown on site spice garden.
