Welcome to the intermediate level where surfing becomes a lot more exciting; get an in depth understanding of wave mechanics, wave reading and selection, learn to maximize the power of a wave. Develop mid face turns to bottom and top turns. Learn transitions and how to link maneuvers..Video feedback analyses allows you to hone in your skills..improve your surfing. Depending on the skill level you have achieved we may allow you to join the surf trips to other locations across the island. Coaching is tailored to open face surfing. Specific drills: pumping turns, mid face turns, bottom turns and top turns. Takes lots of practice..and so exciting!

Suitable for customers with 3 ? 5 years experience or equivalent. Obtain in-depth understanding of wave mechanics; reading and wave selection.
The course focuses on building confidence on more challenging waves; refining take off, generating speed, climb & drop the waves face. Developing forehand, backhand turns to top and bottom turns.
Join this Intermediate course for the following reasons:
Fairly comfortable with take offs, balancing and standing up on small green waves.
Able to do front and back sidet trims across the waves face up 3-4 foot waves.
Unable to do bottom and top turns or link maneuvers?
Inconsistent with take offs on larger waves.
