Description
This Marine Eco tour proposes Shark adventure encounters and Turtle Hatchery visit. Both are endangered and you have a chance to learn and participate in these successful rescue and restoration programs. Sharks are White and Black Reef Tip sharks, Brown Banded Bamboo, and Wobbegong (carpet) sharks. There are usually between 10 - 20 sharks on location.
The eco-tour is ocean friendly for all ages & experience levels. Even non-swimmers can enjoy feeding & up close encounters! The tour also visits the Turtle Conservation and Education Center.
The Turtle Hatchery commonly works with Olive Ridley species and baby releasing seasonally is between June and September.
*Please note that the price includes:
*Transportation to/from Serangan (for a minimum of 2 persons) in the follovving areas: Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Nusa dua, Sanur (Extra charge for Ubud, Uluwatu, Candidasa, Tanah Lot)
*Sharks feeding (15 minutes)
*Visit to the turtle conservation center (15 minutes)
*Swim with sharks for 60 minutes
*Mask, snorkel, reff shoes, life jacket and towel are provided

**Please note the following information:
-Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
-Shower and changing rooms are available on site.

This was eco tourism at its finest. The turtles were adorable and the staff showed a deep passion and understanding for the animals. It was money well spent and a half a day doing what I love. Being with animals.
I hope people catch on. Think about it. Shark fin soup gets sold once, a live shark attraction gets money over and over and educates people.
The staff are wonderful. I even forgot my bathing suit so they lent me a pair of trunks!
