Bibliotheca Alexandrina: One of the most spectacular library cum historical center with a structure that reminds you of the stories of exemplary craftsmanship. The building resembles a semi-disc structure that appears to rise out of the ground. The library consists of more than 5 million volumes and can accommodate close to 2000 visitors. Apart from the main library, there are plenty of museums and galleries that house some of the rarest artifacts and antiques belonging to the pharaohs and nobles.

Al Montazah Palace Gardens: One of the flag symbols of tourism in Alexandria. The palace is known to have been built by a refuge known as Abbas Hilmy. He built the palace as a summer residence. The palace is primarily off limits, particularly for tourists and travelers. But the surrounding garden areas are full of spots ideal for picnics and evening time-outs. The gardens, courtesy of their location on a cliff, are bound by a beach which is relatively messy but is frequented by tourists visiting the gardens.
