Our homely cottages are located in upper Dharamsala, in the Indian hill state of Himachal Pradesh. Nestled in the famous Dhauladhar ranges of the Himalayas, at a height of 2100 m, the resort overlooks the beautiful Kangra valley.
Each room has an attached balcony which offers a anoramic view of the thick deodar (Himalayan cedar) forests on one side and the high snow clad peaks on the other. The sylvan surroundings offer an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.

Treks and Sight seeing Truind: Located in the height of 2975m, a few hours from the snow-line, this spot offers spectacular views of the valley.
Dal Lake: Surrounded by Fir trees, this picturesque can be reached by road or a nature trail that winds through thick forest and Tibetan hil-farms
Bhagsunath: This temple is surrounded by numerous fresh water springs.
Khaniyara River: The River banks of Khaniyara river provide great picnic spots.
Norbulinka Institute: Tree shaded path, wooden bridges, small streams tiny water falls, coupled with a Japanese influence make Norbulinka an idyllic spot.
St. John in the wilderness: a few kms from Dharamkot , is a stone church with stained glass windows.

Fishing: The 20km stretch of the river Beas between nadaun and the Pong dam offers ample opportunities in angling
Excursions Tilokpur: Located at about 50kms from Dharamkot are the cave temples of Tilokpur dedicated to Lord shiva. These limestone caves offer fascinating formations of Stalactite and Stalagmites.
Jwalamukhi: This temple makes this place one of the most sacred sites in the Kangra valley.
Nupur: Traces of the Mughal era’s craftsmanship can be seen in the beautiful carvings.
Tea Garden of Palampur: The lush green tea garden terraces, along with the Neogal khad, a 300mts wide chasm through which gushes the Bundla stream, make Palampur a popular tourist destination.
Chamunda Devi Temple: Besides being a holy spot, the journey to Chamunda Devi offers some glorious views of the mountains.
The cottages are about 500km from Delhi and about 250kms from Chandigarh
By Road:
Direct coaches to upper Dharamsala run daily from Delhi. Depending upon the type of service, the time varies from 10-14 hours.
Reaching Lower Dharamsala
Many people prefer reaching lower Dharamsala and then taking a 30 minute bus/ taxi from there to upper dharamsala
By Air:
The nearest airport is Gaggal, which is about 12 kms from Dharamsala. Air decan and MDLR have daily flights from Delhi.
By Rail:
The town of Pathankot, at a diatnce of about 90kms from dharamsala, is a major railway hub and has daily connections with Delhi and other major Indian cities.
From pathankot, one could either take a taxi/ bus to upper Dharamsala, or continue by train to Kangra Railway station, which is only about 17 kms from dharamsala.
