The spacious capital city of Saxony was nicknamed 'Jewel Box' because of its abundance of baroque and rococo styled art and architecture. It remains a city that has lived through a golden age, although the glitches of the war not forgotten, it continues to mesmerize visitors with its uniquely vibrant modern yet significant past.
