The Bhutanese culture is clearly reflected in its capital, Thimphu. Home to numerous Buddhist sites, it is also Bhutan's largest city. It is a perfect blend of old and new. Its small-town feel coupled with the ongoing commercialization make it unique and charming.
Thimphu is also famous for the Tshechu festival which is celebrated for four days every year, during autumn.
