Launceston, a historical market town, where the architecture is elegant, the parks and gardens are beautiful, surrounding hills are breath-taking and the food scene is zesty. It is the second largest city in Tasmania with a rich cultural heritage which you can learn about in Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. If you are curious about the Tasmanian devil, you can see them at the Tasmania Zoo. Along with numerous parks and gardens, it also houses the Cataract Gorge Reserve where you can take up hiking and bushwalking adventures. From Launceston you can easily get to Cornwall, North and West Devon too.
