Bruny Island is an amalgamation of magical scenery, bountiful produce, pristine beaches and rare wildlife. Two islands, the South Bruny and North Bruny, come together to form the Bruny Island Neck. The island is known to be a bird-watcher's paradise and that coupled with the rare and abundant wildlife makes it a photographer's paradise too. The island is also perfect for bushwalking and there are numerous regions that are best explored by foot. Surfing and fishing are famous here. For those who love food, there is so much choice. Cheese, wine and oysters are a must try and there are really good restaurants that parade the local produce.
