Abbydhama, purely an estate home stay, nestled in the serene environment of a coffee estate, is perfectly located for a weekend break or a leisurely mid-week holiday. It is just 2.5 kms from Madikeri on the main road to Abby falls, a tourist spot. Just near the town but far from the bustling crowd, Hosamane the contemporory bungalow and Halemane the traditional house situated amidst the lush coffee greens are open for you.

There are 02 Bungalows (with a total of 05 rooms) for your stay here - Hosamane - the Contemporary Bungalow and Halemane - the Traditional Bungalow.

HOSAMANE - The contemporary bungalow with a unique architecture has five circular rooms with coffee theme, each having a separate entrance. The colour scheme of each room depicts the transformation of a blossom to a coffee bean. The balcony of each room has a different view of the coffee estate surrounding it.
The roof top area is a place to relax with a panoramic view which unfolds before the eyes. This ambiance is ideal for birthday parties, engagements, friends and family get-together and meetings.

HALEMANE - Halemane is a traditional style, elegant old house with a warm, homely feel to it. It has a tiled roof, four rooms, three attached with western bath. The house also has a lounge, a portico, a kitchen and a dinning area. Facilities for indoor games like carrom, chess, etc. are provided. Guests can utilise the open space covered with lush green lawn for relaxation and leisure. The attic is an interesting place with space for group activities, it can accommodate 15 people. Halemane as a whole can host around 25 guests. Breathtaking views of lush green hills provide the perfect backdrop for this bungalow.

• There are separate kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Separate utensils can also be provided.
• 'Matsya', the Swimming pool - The crisp fresh air caresses the senses as one takes a swim alongside the majestic view of mountain ranges.
• The Play Room in Hosamane is an ideal haven for children.
• Roof-top of Hosamane is a place for relaxation even during the rainy season and is a perfect place to host parties.

• The Tree House in the midst of the estate is a silent corner for peace lovers.
• Lush green lawn surrounding the Halemane is a comfortable zone for evening sit outs, walking and out door activities.
• Natural Lake will be equiped with peddle boating during the summer.
• Bon fire will be arranged on request from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm only.
• A separate bath and toilet  for driver is provided.
• Trekking arrangements are made on request.
• Vehicles are arranged for commuting.
• Outdoor activities can be organized during summer

Raja Seat - Located in the center of the capital city (Madikeri) is an old British grave yard converted into a beautiful garden overlooking the spectacular Western Ghats range.

Omkareshwara Temple - This temple is situated in Madikeri which dates back to 1820 built by the King Lingaraja II set amid a lake where colourful fish abound.

Madikeri Fort - This fort was built in early 19th century, which houses  a Ganesha temple, a museum and two stone elephants which stand as a touching tribute to the two beasts who faithfully served Kodagu's Veeraraja.  At present the fort building is converted into govt.offices.

Gadduge - On the outskirts of Madikeri, visitors can see the 'Gadduge' built in memory of erstwhile kings Doddaveeraraja, son Lingaraja and their guru Rudramani.

Abbi Falls (8kms from Madikeri) - An amazing water fall, from a height of 70 ft, which can be viewed from the hanging bridge built across the falls, is an unforgettable spectacle.

Mandalapatti (18kms from Madikeri) - One of the fabulous natural attractions with a view of stunning overlapping mountains, is the most appreciated mountain peak which is a realm of splendor and bliss.

Bhagamandala (38kms from Madikeri) - River Cauvery  flows to emerge at the confluence of the Kannike and Sujyothi rivers at Bhagamandala which is called 'Triveni sangama'.  The pilgrims take a holy dip in this place.  Here you can visit the cluster of three temples  built in a Kerala style main temple being that of Bhagandeshwara.  Free lunch is served in the temple.

Talacauvery (47kms from Madikeri) - The birth place of the mighty river Cauvery which is revered and worshipped by the people of Kodagu.  Every year, in the month of October, on the 17th, Godess Cauvery rises from the 'Kundike'. The day is celebrated as 'Tula Sankramana'.  Lakhs of people take a holy dip in the pond adjacent to the 'Kundike'.

Nisargadhama (25kms from Madikeri) - It's an island surrounded by The Cauvery river which is a beautiful  bamboo park where you can experience  boat rides, elephant rides, tree-top shelter, deer park, etc.

Golden temple (25kms from Madikeri) - Bylakuppe is known as 'Mini Tibet' since it is the  largest Tibetan refugee camp.  

Nalknad Palace (45kms from Madikeri) - Built in 1792 by Dodda Veerarajendra, it is a 2 storyed palace with magnificient paintings  and architecture which  speaks about the history  of Kodagu.

Dubare (42kms from Madikeri) - 11 acres of natural island can be enjoyed and indulged in at any time of the year.  A ride in a steamer or a boat will take you to the elephant camp where you can feed elephants!

Honnamma Lake (6 kms fromSomwarpet) - It is the biggest lake in Kodagu and has Basaweshwara temple on its bank.

Mallahalli Falls (18kms from Somwarpet) - One of the breathtaking water falls which rumble and swirl tumultously down a rugged mountain valley.

Irupu falls (85kms from Madikeri) - A tourist hot spot with a wonderful water fall which can be seen up close by  visitors and which is surrounded by a thick jungle.  

Chelavara falls (14kms from Virajpet) - Yet another one of the splendid and inspiring water falls of Kodagu.
