Overview
Sunderbans is the natural abode of the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. Located opposite the Tiger Reserve Forest at Sajnekhali, the Sunderban Tiger Camp stands on a lush green field adorned with beautiful flowers. It is an eco friendly luxury jungle resort opposite the Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve forest, which provides accommodation and well an ancillary facilities to the tourists to have a care free holiday, whilst still enjoying and appreciating nature at its best.

"The Sunderbans" in an alluvial archipelago nestled amid the Ganga and the Brahmaputra rivers where the only means of transportation and communication is by boat. It has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985 and was honored as a Biosphere Reserve in 1989.

Tent
For a rustic jungle experience the contemporary Canvas tents provide the ideal gateway for nature lovers. Embracing the natural surroundings while staying in comfort, the tents have been designed to meet high standards with a western toilet where hot water is provided through a bucket system and 4 single beds are provided in each tent.

Huts
These huts reflect the simplicity of the rural world. The bamboo architecture and the handcrafted paneled accommodation display the artistic skills of the locals. Each hut has one double bed and 2 single beds along with a western toilet. Bucket system of hot water is provided here.

A/c Cottages
In keeping with its surroundings, these cottages are made of mud and are called "Matir Ghor", meaning 'House of Mud'. The mud keeps the cottages cool, while other modern amenities are provided. The balconies are ideal for bird watchers.

Executive room
The pond facing twin bed rooms are constructed in a cottage consisting of 2 rooms on the ground floor and 2 rooms on the first floor with a common balcony on each floor. They are equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioners, tea coffee maker, attached western toilet with running hot water provided through solar water heaters. This is perfect for family or groups to stay as they can stay together.

Executive Cottage
The Twin Bed cottages are equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioners, tea coffee maker, attached western toilet in which running hot water is provided through solar water heaters, they provide the best of both worlds - the serenity or a rural setting and the comforts of good life. You can feast your eyes on the beautiful mangrove forest from your private balcony.

You can tickle your taste buds with the buffet style 'carte du jour' prepared by the local chef,  be it local Bengali cuisine, North Indian, Chinese or of continental origin. Or one may go for the 'al-a-carte' menu, which offers a special seafood section comprising local fishes (Bhetki, Pomfret, hilsa, parse); crabs and prawns that have been specifically harvested for consumption, without affecting the ecological balance to you on request.

Conference
The conference facility offered by the resort is at par with International Standards. The A. C. Conference Hall has been constructed with the latest amenities like LCD Projector, Projection Screen, Public Address system with perfect Acoustics. Around 60 participants can take part in seminars, workshops or other meets by Corporate houses.

Library
The library has a large and rare collection of books on Tigers, Sunderbans, Birds and other selected reading material in different languages. Story books for children to read are also available.

Pool Table
Pool facility is provided near the Tiger Shop. Kindly contact the reception, for more details.

Card Room
The card room is located above the reception and is available for guests above the age of 16 to use.

Souvenirs/ Tiger Shop
You can buy local handcrafted items from the Tiger Shop to serve as mementos. Sunderbans being a rural region with not much of vegetation growth provides one of the most exclusive souvenirs to carry back home.
  • Modhu or Honey as we call it- Is collected during certain time of the year from the Sunderban Tiger Reserve, by the local villagers who endanger their lives and enter the forest.
  • Bird Houses, - are hand-made from local products are a specialty of the villagers of Dayapur.
  • Mud Idols - are hand-made by the locals of Bengal and are promoted by us to enhance and support their creativity and artistic skill.
The Tiger Shop located near the library and the bonfire area houses a wonder of gifts, necessities, books on Sunderbans.
  • Eco-friendly ashtrays, idols, vases made from Coconut and Bamboo adorn the shop.
  • A stroll to the shop is definitely an experiencing idea to what one might find there.

Village Walk
Several walk ways are made within the resort. You can either follow the direction signs clearly demarcating them or ask any of our staff for the same. The Walk ways go through areas where one can sight many species and varieties of birds endemic as well as migratory to the region.

Sunderbans National Park is the largest estuarine mangrove forest in the world. The Sundarbans forest inhabits more than 400 tigers. The climatic conditions at the park creates an ideal habitat for the resident as well as the foreign birds of numerous variety. You will be enthralled to find some of the popular birds in this region. The number of reptiles is excellent here that are found within its complex.

8.30 A.M        Departure from Priya Cinema near Deshapriya Park located in South Kolkata, West Bengal India. (Refreshments are provided during the journey through rustic Bengal)
11.00 A.M      Arrival at Gothkhali (Here the road journey ends and the cruise to beautiful Sunderban begins...).
11.30 A.M      Departure by Boat for Dayapur. Tea/Coffee on Boat
1.15 P.M         Arrival at Sunderban Tiger Camp, Dayapur (The resort is located right opposite the Sunderban Tiger Reserve Forest separated just by River Pitchkhali).
1.30 P.M         Lunch.
3.30 P.M         Departure by boat for Sajnekhali Tiger Project Area for viewing Wild life, Sajnekhali Museum, Mangrove Interpretation Centre & Watch Tower.
5.30 P.M         Return to Sunderban Tiger Camp.
6.00 P.M         Evening Tea/Coffee with Snacks. Enjoy a Panoramic View from Watch Tower. Evening Get-Together. Folk Dance by Local Artists/ Wild Life Movie and Bonfire (during winter season only)

2nd Day
6:30/5:30AM  Morning Tea.
8.00 A.M       A thrilling Boat Cruise inside creeks and dense forest (breakfast on boat during cruise) through numerous rivers while visiting Dobanke Watch Tower where the canopy walk inside the forest sends chills down your body (experience the life in which caged animals live in, while getting an all around view of the forest). Also visit the Spotted Deer Rehabilitation Centre. After which we cruise through Matla  Sea Face (the point from where Bay of Bengal can be seen) -Cruising back through the 5 river junction - to Pitchkhali.
1:00 P.M       Lunch.
4.00 P.M       Promenade around the Neighbouring villages to interact with the Local Community at a typical Sunderban settlement to understand their local Art, Culture and Way of Life (how man and tiger coexist in such a difficult terrain. In simple words a "Rendezvous with the Rural Bengal."
5:30 P.M       Evening Tea / Coffee with Snacks, followed by a Folk Dance by Local Artists/Wildlife Movie.
9:00 P.M       Dinner.

3rd Day
6.30 A.M      Morning Tea.
