180° McIver is a 115 year old colonial property with 6 well appointed rooms. The resort boasts of a stunning 180° view of Coonoor and the surrounding hills. "La Belle Vie", the multi-cuisine restaurant, offer guests an extensive organic menu with vegetables from their kitchen garden.
The furniture has been carefully chosen by the hostess from antique shops across the country and each bauble reflects the thought that has gone into doing up the decor.

There are three types of rooms and they are all named after family owned estates.
Blackwood is huge, with wooden floors and a private sit-out. It is ideal for honeymooners with a colour scheme of pink and yellow.
The main block has two smaller rooms - Balfour that is done up in green and pink and Motecute is done up in green and yellow. Colworth and Cromwell are done up in orange and red.
Cresswell is slightly larger and is done up in yellow and pink. All these rooms have a common living room with a book-shelf and fire place. Also, lavish bathrooms are a common quotient across all rooms.
The restaurant serves both Italian and Indian fare. There is no fried food, no soda and everything is steam cooked.
Activities include indoor games and badminton. Trekking and sightseeing can be organized.
You can also visit a cheese making facility nearby. Arrangements for a game of golf and spa treatment can also be made. Also, if you are first timer, dont miss the toy train ride from Coonoor.
