Nestled in the Parvati Valley, along the banks of the Parvati River, this 'mini Israel' is emerging as a hub for backpackers, trekkers and nature lovers. Due to the large number of Israeli inhabitants Kasol is home to, you'll find plenty of cafes with delicious Israeli and European food.
With not many sightseeing spots as such, Kasol is usually visited by travelers looking to relax and enjoy the nature and lush green landscapes around them. However, there are quite a few places around Kasol that attract tourists. Six kilometers from Kasol is the Manikaran Sahib - a huge Gurudwara known for its hot spring.
You can also trek or hitch a ride to nearby Malana or Tosh, or even drive to Kullu which is about 40kms away. But don't leave without visiting the local market of Kasol if you're a fan of trinkets and want to pick up some hippie souvenirs!
