More information on the Zoo:
Since 1973, Singapore Zoo has been known for having among the most beautiful wildlife park settings in the world, where animals roam freely in open and naturalistic habitats.
Many of our animal habitats incorporate special viewing features such as elevated platforms to view our giraffe exhibit, underwater galleries to see the watery worlds of our otters, pygmy hippos and giant estuarine crocodiles, as well as glass observatories to see animals such as the predatory cheetahs and lions. On top of the fascinating perspective of the animals, you get to view them in environments that have been thoughtfully built and landscaped after their habitats in the wild

We spend a great day at the zoo with our two little children (1 and 3). The place is amazing. Beautiful settings. The tickets are quite expensive but definitely worth it !
Lots of animals and the feeding sessions are very nice to see. There is everything you could think of for children, even small ones. They can have fun and the visit is easy (small statues to climb, stroller or little plastic cars to rent to move around easily...). There is also a children playgrouns with water play but it was under renovation during our visit.
I would definitely recommend to visit, with or even without children.
The transfert by bus is fine.
I haven't tried the night safari but it seems also fun.
Singapore
No place exemplifies diversity better than Singapore. It is a melting pot of communities, cultures and religions, each accompanied by a rich heritage. Singapore's culture is heavily influenced by a mix of British, Dutch, Portuguese, Malay, South Asian, East Asian and Australian cultures. Singapore has something for everyone. The numerous museums showcase the art of Singapore. The many parks and gardens display the flora and fauna that make the city come alive. Beaches are abuzz with water sports. There are grand casinos to tempt you to a game of chance. It is impossible to talk about Singapore and not mention the shopping centers and the food. Shopping is considered a national pass-time. From antiques to fake goods, it is all available here. The food, which is a mixed bag of cuisines never leaves the belly disappointed. Accommodation is available for those on a budget and those looking to splurge money on a luxurious stay.
