PROGRAM:
Langkawi has a rich diversity of ecosystems and habitat types. This includes lowland broadleaf rainforest, mangrove forest, reed beds, rice paddies, orchards, scrublands and mudflats. This therefore ensures a correspondingly rich diversity in birdlife on the island. There are over 220 species of birds recorded on the island with approximately 30 percent being migratory. All our tours start early for the best opportunities to observe them and to avoid the heat of the tropical sun. We subscribe to the Birdlife International Guidelines for Best Practices on Bird Tourism for this tour.
