Getting to Bunbury
Bunbury, the third largest city in Western Australia is also known as the dolphin capital of Western Australia because of the bottlenose dolphins housed in the Leschenault Estuary. At the Dolphin Discovery Centre, you are presented with an opportunity to interact with them. Another unique attraction is the Tuart Forest National Park which houses the largest section of endangered tuart forest in the world. At this park you will also come across native wildflowers. This Park also offers several picturesque picnic spots and hiking trails. Bunbury is in close proximity to other touristy towns like Margaret River, Busselton and Dunsborough.

Why Visit ?
Leschenault Estuary: A lagoon that houses 60 to 140 bottlenose dolphins which focuses on studying the long-term viability of bottlenose dolphin population off Bunbury and provides information about the potential impacts of human activity on dolphins.

Bunbury Regional Art Galleries: A gallery that houses works of Australian art luminaries Arthur Boyd and Sir Sidney Nolan. The gallery is located in a restored pink convent.
Tuart Forest National Park: This national park houses the largest section of the endangered tuart forest in the world. Among the numerous 300-year-old trees and wildflowers you can enjoy picnicking, scenic drives and bushwalking.
Hiking among the mangroves along Mangrove Boardwalk bring you closer to the native ecosystem.

There are cruises and boating too.
Casella's: The decor doesn't really make it to the pros column but the food does. The cuisine the restaurant specializes in is Spanish and the recommended dish is chicken adobado with herby roast potatoes. The wine list is extensive and a huge pro. You can sample authentic Spanish tapas too.

Café 140: A cafe that serves a light Bunbury breakfast. For breakfast you have the likes of salmon omelettes and great coffee. The lunch menu features gourmet burgers and Turkish sandwiches. The cafe also stores interesting magazines and books.
You can add to wine collection after your visit to Bunbury.
