Tiger N Woods Resort

Tiger 'N' Woods is located in a village called Avarghani. The resort is strategically located on the edge of the national park. Surrounded by the lush green Mahua trees, it serves as a wonderful gallery for viewing wildlife.

The  Resort is  located just on  the edge of the jungle comprising of 10 charming, all wooden stand alone machaans which give the real feel of the jungle once you get in. The resort has a private gallery for every machaan to sit and enjoy the depth and quietness of the forest behind, with a hot cup of tea and snacks. It also has a separate dining area, and all the comfort you require to feel at home in the midst of a jungle.

The Pench National Park touches the velvety reaches of AVSM (Aravali, Vindyachal, Satpura, & Maikal hills), the most ancient and beguiling portion of the Central Indian mountain ranges. These forests cover around 757 sq. km and are a mix of tropical moist deciduous forest mixed with tropical dry deciduous teak bearing forests and dry mixed deciduous forest encompassing the Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh.

Inspired by a vision of operating excellent wildlife resorts in key National parks of India, Tiger 'N' Woods offers tastefully-decorated Machaans with all the modern amenities, each looking out into the expansive, lush green jungle with every little indulgence you would normally expect on a premium vacation.

Dining
A delectable buffet spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food await the guests. Lunch and Dinner are served in Indian & mughlai cuisine. There are excellent options even in the vegetarian fare. Food tastes as good as home cooked food. Food can be prepared non-spicy on special request. Special Kids' menu comprising of food that is non-spicy and exciting for children is available from 6.30 - 8:30 pm. Coffee/tea/cookies are available throughout the day. Extra Meals can be organized on special request

Jungle safari
Jungle safaris (by jeep) into the core zone of the National Park are conducted twice a day. A qualified naturalist will accompany you on every trip to help you interpret the exotic flora and fauna of the region. Joy rides in the forest on elephant-back are also offered during morning safaris ( Subject to availability and bookings). All guests must adhere to the Code of conduct during the safaris.

Nature Walks
Getting up-close to nature is fully experienced only when you venture out and feel the emotions she exudes. Learn everything about the flora and fauna of the region from the naturalists who will lead you on the trail.

Bird watching
Bird watching in Pench is an excellent pastime with over 210 species of birds being recorded here. The Pench region is dominated by dense forests, but you can also find patches of shrubs around the periphery as well as a lot of cultivation around the area. The water bodies inside the park act as an attraction to a wide variety of water birds. Even when the water bodies recede, they leaves isolated pools of water that attract a multitude of birds as fishes are trapped in them.

Star gazing & Night Safari
One of the nicest things about a resort in the wilderness is the beautiful clear sky above. In the jungle due to almost zero pollution, the night sky is full of millions and millions of bright twinkling stars, which one never gets to see in the city.

Nagpur is the nearest airport connected to Delhi & Mumbai and other places by regular flights. Jabalpur (192 kms.) also serves as a convenient airhead with regular flights from Delhi.

Nagpur (approximately 115 Kms.) is the nearest railway station connected to Delhi & Mumbai and other places in the region by regular trains. Jabalpur (192 kms.) also serves as a convenient railhead connected to Delhi and other parts of the country. Numerous Rajdhani Express Trains from Delhi conveniently connect to Nagpur like, the Delhi- Chennai, Delhi- Bangalore & Delhi- Bilaspur trains.

Road Conditions: The road is excellent from Nagpur all the way to the resort.

Ideal time to leave: Try to leave Nagpur before 5.00 AM in the morning so that you can beat the city traffic, as well as relax and enjoy the evening safari on the same day, at the resort.
