The cottages are each independent and built on stilts without disturbing the ecosystem and avoiding the felling of trees in the process. The interior designing and furnishing have local Kerala traditional and rustic flavours combined with the modern ideas of comfortable living. The balconies allow the residents to observe the nature in all its verdant bounty all around.

Rooms:
There are three types of cottages.

The Luxury Cottage has two well-furnished bedrooms with attached bathrooms, one spacious living room, one dining room and two balconies.

The Deluxe Cottage has one well-furnished bedroom with bathroom, a living room, a dining room and two balconies.

The Standard Cottage has a large bedroom with attached bath and a spacious balcony.

Note: Services include hot and cold running water, telephone, laundry, doctors on call, coffee/tea maker, 24 hrs room service. Separate accommodation and meals to the drivers are provided without extra payment.

Dining:
All popular and traditional delicacies of the Kerala, Indian and the Continental varieties are served here. The glass roof of the in-house restaurant provides a beautiful view of treetops swaying in the mountain breeze. Candle light dinner among the illuminated treetops and moonlight will be ever etched in memory. A long balcony from where you can touch the trees enhances the atmosphere.

The resort provides a whole bunch of rejuvenating ayurvedic massage options to choose from.

Abhyangam (Ayurvedic Massage): Whole body massage will slightly heated medicated oil according to person?s body condition. This improves in function, nourishment to skin and increases the texture of the skin & wrinkles, and strength the muscles. Time 1 hr.

Podikizhi: (Herbal powder combination are taken and made poultices warmed and massaged all over the body). This is beneficial to the joints, strengthens muscles and good for arthritis.

Navarakizhi: (Special rice cooked in herbs and medicated milk and tied in a cloth and immensed in warm in medicated milk, applied hot all over the body). Highly rejuvenating, better circulation, nourishments of tissues, increase sexual vitality, improves complexion, muscular disorders etc. Time 1 hr.

Sirodhara: Thailam (This is a Kerala's special treatment in which medicated oil or Ksheera (milk) or Thakra (butter milk). This is poured in a continuous stream on the forehead in a rhythmic manner. Used for preventive and curative aspects. Useful for diseases of head, epilepsy, insomnia etc. it boosts nervous system, improves memory, hair growth etc. Time ½ hr.

Sirodhara: Ksheeram - (This is a Kerala special treatment in which Ksheera (milk) is poured in a continuous stream on the forehead in a rhythmic manner). It is useful in diseases of sleeplessness, anxiety, nervousness, some neurological disorders etc. It boosts the central nervous system, improves memory and promotes hair growth. It helps the body relax.

Saravangadhara: Kashayam - (Medicated decoction is poured on the body in form of stream and rubbed gently all over the body. Massage is done before this). Increase circulation reduces burning sensation all over the body, helpful for dry skin and increases skin glow.

Saravangadhara: Ksheeram - (Medicated milk/herbal decoction is poured on the body and rubbed). Increase circulation reduces muscular pain and inflammation in joints and also helps in reducing fatigue. Improve sexual ability.

Head, Neck & Shoulder Massage: (medicated warm oil is used and gently massage is done for Head, Neck and Shoulder. Benefits - Stops hair fall, reduces strain in neck and shoulders and is very relaxing. Time ½ hr.

Padabayangam: (Foot Massage) Lower legs and feet is massaged with medicated oil. Benefits - Reduce stress and strain, improved circulation and helps in the relaxation of muscles.

Nasyam: ( Warm water and medicated oil is poured into the nostrils in drops). It helps to eliminate the morbid factor from head and neck area and is effective in sinusitis, migraine, cervical spondylosis, facial palsy etc. Time ½ hr.

Udvarthanam: (Whole body is massaged using herbal powder). Improves the texture of skin, removes excess fat in the body and is good remedy for obesity.

Herbal Facila: (Gently massaged with fruit juices and then special herbal face pack in applied). It improves texture of skin, reduces pimples, wrinkles black marks etc. altogether it makes the face glow.

By Air: Munnar town is 115 kms from Nedumbassery international airport at Kochi, and 170 kms from the airport at Madurai, the Temple City in Tamilnadu, there's a National Highway No. 49 which connects these two cities.

By Rail: Kochi is also the nearest railhead to Munnar.

The state highway from Kumarakam, the capital of backwater tourism of Kerala passes along the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and Thekkady Lake to join the National Highway at Poopara 30 kms from Munnar. The Anayirankal Dam with its manicured tea gardens and blue hills beyond, and the Lockhart Gap giving breathtaking views of valleys below are between Poopara and Munnar.
