Situated between the Himalayas to the south and the Kunlun range to the north , Ladakh is one India's prime spots for tourism. Some travellers come from overseas just to trek in these mountains but it's only advisable to this in the presence of the local guides ,plenty of whom are available for hire in town. Local Festivals: The whole region comes alive with festivals during the summers. Most of these festivals are Tibetan influenced and is a good time to gel with the locals and also good for shopping.
Lamayuru Restaurant , Leh: One of the most popular joints in Leh and frequently visited by Travellers. The restaurant offers a delightful North Indian , Continental and Western cuisine at a fair price.
Gesmo Restaurant , Leh : Located very near to the Lamayuru , this restaurant serves amazing Western and North Indian food and is well known for it's varities of Pizza. The place is known to be wonderful to visit at night.
