Overview
Georgia Sunshine village is situated in Shivanasamudram skirting the Cauvery wildlife sanctuary, 120 kms away from Bangalore and 60 kms. from Mysore. It is nestled in the shrub jungles among rambling hills checkered with farmlands of coconut and other seasonal crops. This very rugged terrain makes it a true paradise for the adventurous trekker.

They try their best to give you the "absolute" feeling of home, the service is personalized with boys hand picked and trained from the locality surrounding them. The food is also given the very best attention to ensure that it tastes close to that which is cooked at home.
As the name implies the weather is sunshine most of the year with rainfall being short, sharp spells.
The Stay
The village consists of eight spacious rooms - three deluxe rooms, one family room while four rooms are standard rooms, which are set in four well spread cottage blocks. Each cottage consists of two rooms positioned back to back.
Deluxe rooms : The Deluxe rooms are spacious and have ACs, a mini refrigerator with attached toilets and a spacious verandah.
Family room : The Family rooms are spacious and have attached toilets that are closed.
Standard rooms : The Standard rooms are spacious and have partially open to the sky toilets which are absolutely private.
Facilities
Airy lounge: There is an airy lounge where one can just "chill " or relax and read a book from the different books and periodicals available in the library.
Recreation room: There is a Recreation room that has various indoor games like Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, Fuzzball and various board games like Scrabble, Pictionary, etc
Swimming pool: There is a Swimming Pool for those who really want to chill. In order to use the pool, swimwear is a must.
Outdoor games: There is a provision to play Casual Shuttle Badminton / Volleyball and there is also ample place to play any other game you wish to like Cricket.
Bonfire: There is a provision for a Bonfire for those who wish to warm up after chilling out !!
Activities
Trekking: There are two prominent routes that one can take,either to the Gaaganchukki which is about 7 kms one way and takes about 1.5 to 2 hrs. The other is up the Kundoorbetta (hill). This is very strenuous and is better done early morning.You are also at liberty to check out your own route should you like to. All those who wish to go trekking are advised to carry with them a proper hat and sturdy walking shoes.
Bird Watching: There are a variety of birds spotted in and around the vicinity of Georgia Sunshine Village.
Fun Fishing: One can go fishing in the water bodies around the George Sunshine Village. A bamboo rod and line with hook and bait will be provided along with a guide.
Safari: Wild life safari can be arranged with sufficient prior intimation. The surrounding shrub jungle abound with deer, rabbits, wild boar, peacock, partridge, quail etc. Elephants are normally sighted between June to December. If you are extremely lucky you could even spot a panther.
Safari in your own vehicle (subject to government/forest department rules and regulations) a guide will be provided. Rs.200/- for two hours.

From Bangalore : Georgia Sunshine Village is 100 Kms from Bangalore via Kanakpura to 'T' Junction outside Malavalli Town or 100 kms from Bangalore via Maddur to Malavalli Town.
From 'T' junction : It is 8 kms from 'T' Junction to SHIMSHAPURA ROAD
From Shimshapura junction : It is 4.2 kms from Shimshapura Junction to Hebbani Village
From Hebbani : 1.5 kms after Hebbani turnoff to GSV 1.5 KMS.
