Forest Hills Farm & Guesthouse is a family run rustic theme resort located in a beautiful and secluded part of the famous Nilgiri foothills in India and very close to the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve offering a unique opportunity to explore and appreciate the unspoilt virgin rainforests that are home to a variety of wildlife. Time means nothing here. The guesthouse offers a delightful mix of old-fashioned hospitality and contemporary amenities typical of the colonial bungalows and clubs.
The atmosphere is informal and friendly and the facilities include a ‘Machaan’ or Watchtower on stilts which guarantees sighting of wildlife at close quarters. It is set in a breathtakingly beautiful valley with the wooded mountains forming a majestic backdrop.
The forests around the guesthouse are home to the highest population of Asiatic elephants. Also, they are home to tigers, leopards, deer, gaur (Indian bison), bear and many exotic birds like paradise flycatcher, rufous treepie, roller jay, bee-eater and grey hornbil. The reception has a warm and inviting ambiance typical of colonial parlor.
Accommodation includes three double-occupancy rooms, one triple room, one four-bedded cottage, six bamboo huts, two tree houses and one Machaan, all Non AC. The rooms are cozily furnished and offer every modern convenience. The cuisine is delightfully tasty and varied. The service is,needless to say, exemplary.

- Forest Hills offers Bird Watching treks for Guests interested in bird watching. Arrangements can be made for the guest on their arrival. The Guests will be in the company of a guide who will assist in identifying birds and their calls.
