Nestled in the Aravali hills, the 18th century Devigarh palace in the village of Delwara forms one of the three main passes into the valley of Udaipur. Devigarh, is ready for visitors after years of restoration and rebuilding. The Fort palace was conceived as a place where the past meets the future. This all-suite luxury hotel comprising of 39 suites with an emphasis on design and detail was built using local marbles and semi-precious stones. The contemporary design showcased within this spectacular heritage property, complemented by personalised and intimate service, creates a new image of hospitality for the modern traveller.

All of the 39 suites at Devi Garh are unique; luxurious & beautiful and equipped with the most modern facilities to make a guest feel at home. The premium suite, called Devigarh Suite, has a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi, of its own. Each suite is embellished with marble and semi-precious stones, while the public spaces are designed around different metals.

The Aravali Suites: The Aravali Suites are the most spacious, bright and tastefully designed suites at Devigarh. They offer complete privacy and have a spectacular view of the Aravali hills, which can be enjoyed from balconies or large bay windows.

The Palace suites: The Palace suites are each individually designed gems - literally, for their decor uses semi-precious stone inlay. The patterns of the furniture are reflected and replicated in the white terrazzo forming the floor. All the palace suites have either balconies or bay windows, which overlook the lush green fields and the mountains which surround Devigarh.

The Garden suites: The Garden suites at Devigarh each have their own private lobby, garden and tented terrace and overlook a vivid rectangular field of flowers. A carved marble tree of life surmounts the headboard of the bed, adding to the effect of a garden within the room.

Featuring spectacular sunset views, the Bar at Devi Garh is a fun relaxed space integrating the colours and energy of Rajasthan. We also have a well stocked bar where an eclectic mix of drinks such as spirits stirred with pomegranate juice are available alongside more familiar favourites.

Janana Courtyard
This courtyard has a modern fountain juxtaposed against an ancient swing. On a moonlit evening, black tabletops, sprinkled flowers and candles add to the ambiance - during winters, special bonfires are lit for the guest's comfort. This venue, open to the sky with the cool desert breeze blowing is ideal for 25 to 30 guests.

Restaurant Terrace
The best view of the setting sun can be enjoyed from this terrace. Overlooking the Aravali mountains and the palace, it is an ideal venue for breakfast, evening drinks, high tea, and dinner for approximately 30-50 guests.

Garden Suite Lawns
This contemporary garden, with the palace as a backdrop, transforms into an excellent dinner venue. The trees decorated with sparkling lights for large gatherings mimic the night sky. This venue is ideal for sit down dinner of 250 guests and a standing buffet of 350 guests.

Durbar Courtyard
This enclosed courtyard offers the starry sky, the distant sound of water from the nearby fountains and privacy while being adjacent to the bar and the Durbar Hall. This open venue is perfect for drinks and is suitable for 25 to 30 people to dine.

Lounge Balcony
This venue is perfect for a couple or family to dine comfortably on tables decorated with fresh flowers, and a menu that can be tailor-made to your choice - gazing upon Delwara village with candles illuminating the marble pillars and reflecting off the mirrored ceiling. Sheesh Mahal
This is the most magical venue. Traces of History in the form of faded frescoes, mirror work and broken Chinese ceramic decoration lend charm to it. Traditional low Indian seating and rows of candles transform this into a perfect venue for a very special occasion.

Roof Top
Open to the moonlit sky is the enclosed verandah with a private Jharokha rendering maximum privacy and making this an unforgettable location to dine. This venue is ideal for 15 guests.

DELWARA
The village where Devigarh is located boasts four 14th Century Jain temples, which formed the inspiration for the famous temples of Dilwara near Mount Abu. These exquisitely carved temples are well worth a visit.

BAPPARAWAL
Three kilometers from Delwara is the small lake of Bapparawal. A visit to this lake on a horse or camel safari can be the best way to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Aravali hills.

UDAIPUR
A mere 40 minutes drive from Devigarh lies the city of Udaipur, considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in India, the last capital of the state of Mewar. Udaipur is a city of palaces, gardens, and lakes. The Lake Palace and the beautiful City Palace, are just two of Udaipur's main attractions.

EKLINGJI
A temple complex consisting of 108 temples built of sandstone and marble, dating back to 734 A.D, a mere 5 kilometers away.

NAGDA
This site offers a cluster of temples that have intricate stone carvings and are in close proximity to a lily pond. At only 6 kilometers away, this attraction is ideal for guests at Devigarh.

NATHDWARA
This site is a little further, being 24 kilometers away. A Vaishnava place of worship built in the 18th century, it is one of India's most renowned shines to Shri Nathji (the Hindu God Krishna).

RANAKPUR
At 110 kilometers away Ranakpur can be visited in a comfortable day excursion. An excellent example of Indian workmanship, these Jain temples are known for their exquisite carving. The temple complex includes 1,444 carved pillars, no two of which are alike.

Located 28 Km northeast of Udaipur, Devigarh is a convenient and scenic 45 minute drive from the city. The fort, surrounded by lush green fields and mountains on three sides, overlooks the village of Delwara, and is close to the temples of Eklingji and Nagda.

Udaipur is easily accessible via air from Delhi or Mumbai, with convenient road and rail connections. Local taxis are easily available from the airport to transport guests to Devigarh. Alternatively, the hotel can organize a car to pick up guests upon arrival, if they so desire.
