The Farm:
A completely self sufficient farm that employs state of the art eco-friendly methods of cultivation, the huge stretch of land at Destiny produces a wealth of vegetables, dairy products and fruits. Apart from the fresh carrots, cabbages and tubers that are provided to all the concept hotels under the Littlearth group, the farm also harvests exotic herbs, English vegetables like artichokes, rhubarbs and strawberries. The clean well-maintained dairy produces a healthy amount of milk. The workers and supervisors in the farm are as passionate as they are experienced in the various aspects of agriculture.
Fine Living
So what if the outdoors are rugged? Each of the plush 18 cabin styled rooms more than make up for it.With a view to 'die for', the rooms are divided into blocks named after people from the Wild West, Explorers and Men of Nature. Each room comes with opulent wooden flooring & the luxury rooms also have a cozy, fully functional fireplace.
Fine Dining
What's a great holiday without a culinary adventure? At Destiny, its not just about what we serve you, but where. The large, classy dining area lets you savour every nuance of the exquisite Indian, Chinese and Continental buffet on offer.
You can even select your own vegetables from the farm and we'll have them cooked the way you like it!
There are plenty of exciting activities one can try out in Destiny.
- Agriculture Tour: Apart from a general tour and explanation of farming practices, you can get a hands-on session of a cyclic farming crop. Kids can also try their hand at planting or play in the sand pit equipped with buckets and spades.
- Trekking: There is a lush green valley, flowing river and picturesque hills. Take advantage of it. Walk around the lake, picnic at a scenic spot or trek up a hill and camp at a secluded spot, with an expert for company.
- Horse Riding: Ride on our well-groomed horses at the riding track or for more experienced riders, ride on the hills. Kids can visit our stables to see and pet our horses and ponies. There’s even a baby pony at Destiny!
- Rock climbing: Whether you are a novice or an expert, our in-house rock climbing experts are always willing to guide you on the intricacies of knots and techniques. Safety is the watchword here, so enjoy your climb!
- River Crossing: Not for the faint-hearted, crossing the river by suspension traverse is a great way to get the adrenalin pumping. With an expert always at your side, crossing the wild river is fun!
- Sport: Put on your tracks and fight it out over a game of pool, volleyball, throw ball or table tennis. We even have a putting green amidst the riding tracks if you want to play a game of golf.
- Fishing: Along special areas marked for fishing, experience what a calm and soothing experience fishing is. There’s plenty of carp and trout and carp to catch.
- Open Jeep Ride: Enjoy the wind in your face and the sun in your hair, when you take an open jeep ride with us. Remember to eat light and sit very, very tight.
- Bonfire: Huddle around a crackling bonfire and share your stories over a cuppa and marshmallows!
- Geese and Rabbits: Kids love nothing better than the green patch filled with rabbits. Watch the geese as they hurry to the pond!
- Dairy farm Tour: Take a detailed tour of our dairy farm and watch how our bovines are hand- or machine- milked. Kids can also pet our calves.
The Corporate Species
These travel in groups. Frequently seen & welcomed at Destiny, there's so much for this species to do here. Right from the conference ritual to the team building exercises, Destiny gives them the space and the facilities. They are spotted in the large conference room (we think it is our projector that attracts them) & especially the well maintained putting green.
The Kids
Kids exhibit a level of enthusiam rarely seen in the adult form. At Destiny, they seem enamoured by the vegetable patches, horses, geese & rabbits and especially the huge bonfire at dusk.
