This beautiful home is nestled amidst the thickly carpeted green hills laced with the exotic, wild fragrances of the surrounding plantations and the resounding silence of the valley.

This home was born of a dream; Capt. Suraj. K. Rao, a pilot who retired as General Manager from Indian Airlines, always wanted to spend his retired life away from the city's maddening crowds and in the midst of his lush estate in Coorg. His wife, Ragini Suraj however, had a different dream. While she enjoyed nature's charms, she wanted to meet and interact with different people.

They opened up their home stay to people who wished to share this experience with them. Coffee Trails was started on their verdant property near Virajpet. Built beneath perpetual moisture laden clouds, it is a blend of the cool and pristine environment outside and the cozy warmth of their home inside.

Accommodation
The aesthetically designed rooms give you a chance to enjoy your lush surroundings in luxurious comfort. Every room is elegantly appointed with modern, comfortable furnishings and amenities. All rooms come equipped with a TV and cable connection, hot and cold water round the clock and a tea/coffee maker. Every room features its own dressing room and bathroom with a private deck that opens out on to an unobstructed view of the valley.

Dining
Meals are served in an open dining area with a breathtaking vista to gaze upon while you eat.

Library
There is a reading room with a fully stocked library attached to it.

Bonfires
Bonfires can be arranged on request, weather permitting.

Just 30 kms away from Madikeri, Coorg's capital town, Virajpet offers a plethora of picnic spots, trekking zones, and historic spots.
