A serene hill station lesser known in comparison to the likes of Shimla, Nainital and Mussoorie but for people looking for a cerebral de-stress through an isolated yet peaceful serenity then Dalhousie is the place to hit. This place is not meant for ones who love streets bustling with shopping and activity, malls or wild partying. Dalhousie plays the role of a retreat primarily for single travelers but over the years it has developed the reputation of being a really good honeymoon spot as well.
The town of Kasauli was established as a hill station by the British in the year in 1842. Located in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, the town is at a distance of 77 km from Shimla and 65 km from Chandigarh. One of those places which has not yet earned it's spot on India's map of tourism. Kasauli acts as more of a stopover on the way to Shimla.
