The Chalets Naldehra extend from a thickly forested mountain spur and have a view of a deep valley. Swimming pool
The heated leisure pool of the Chalets has been imported from Australia and placed in a large glass plant-packed hall that seems to bring indoors all the charms of the surrounding woods - it's almost as if you are swimming with the cedars. The ambience is relaxed, the water welcoming - and the fireplace by the poolside, blazing.

White water rafting is available by reputed companies on the river Sutlej - 25 kms from The Naldehra Chalets.

There are various trek points around Chalets Nalhedra like The Carignano Trek, The Mashobra Valley Trek, The Century Old Trek & The Neckline Trek.

While staying at The Chalets Naldehra, there are many picturesque destinations for sightseeing or day excursions - or for a taste of soft or hard adventure. With Naldehra as the base, all areas around can be covered.

Tattapani and River Rafting on River Sutlej
Situated on the banks of the river Sutlej, Tattapani is just 25 km from Naldehra, along a road that winds through the scenic countryside.  Tattapani was famous for its hot sulphur springs. River rafting handled by trained operators is available. You may also visit the historic Lord Shiva caves that are at a short distance.

Mashobra and Carignano
Pine and oak woods frame Mashobra, 11 km from Naldehra.  Enchanting trails wind through the forest to lovely gardens, apple orchards and the old Church. From the heart of Mashobra, a pedestrian track leads down to Sipur.  This is a large and exquisite glade shaded by ancient cedar trees. Carignano lies close to Mashobra and offers excellent views of the area.

Baldian
This 3 km from Naldehra along the Naldehra golf course road and has excellent views and walk trails.

Kufri
This is a little hamlet, just 16 km from Naldehra and offers views of the countryside and the majestic Himalaya mountains. A one-time winter sports capital, Kufri is still a focal point for a large number of ski enthusiasts who come here to enjoy the ski slopes.

Fagu
22 km from Naldehra, Fagu is a vantage point with panoramic views of the ranges and valleys.  Picturesquely located amidst forests and orchards, it is an interesting village and serves as a good base for exploring the nearby countryside.

Narkanda
An enchanting 65 km drive from The Chalets, brings you to Narkanda, which is a popular skiing resort in winter.  It has a choice of ski slopes - a beginner's run, a slalom slope and sharper descents for the seasoned foot.  Narkanda offers some of the finest views of the Greater Himalayas.

Chail
45 km from Naldehra, Chail was the summer capital of the erstwhile maharaja of Patiala.  Visit one of the highest cricket grounds in the world that is situated here. Lunch at the beautiful Chail Palace Hotel, may be followed by some memorable pine scented walks through a dense forest.

Shimla
Shimla, the present-day capital of Himachal Pradesh and the former summer capital of British India holds enormous attractions for every visitor. By Rail
The narrow gauge railhead at Shimla is 23 kms away. The broadgauge railheads are at Kalka - 110 kms away and at Chandigarh, 145 kms away.

By Road
The Naldehra Chalets are 300 m from the golf course at Naldehra. The distance from Shimla is 23 kms.
