The variety of flora and fauna, make it a nature lover's Paradise. Your hosts at Casa Coorg are an Army officer couple, who have served in all corners of this diverse country and have hung up their boots to lead the quiet life. Having made their home in this most beautiful land, they want to share their slice of Paradise with folks from other lands.
The Stay
At Casa Coorg, wake up to the songs and chatter of birds, while away your time amidst nature, sipping endless cups of home-grown coffee, indulge yourself in sinfully tasty food and let your body and mind relax and recuperate from the stress of city life.
Lie on your bed or lounge in your private verandah and gaze at the million shades of green. The only sounds you hear are the songs of the birds, the whisper of the wind and the gurgle of the stream.
Rooms: They have 2 deluxe rooms and 1 country cottage. The deluxe rooms can each accommodate upto 3 people and the country cottage can take in about 4 people.
Activities
Golf : Coorg Golf Links, a full-fledged 18-hole course and one of the most scenic in the country is a Par-5 (approx 550 yards) from Casa Coorg.
Adventure: Coorg Adventure Club is located 100 mtrs from Casa Coorg. A variety of terrestrial and aquatic activities are offered at nominal rates.
Plantation walk: Walk through the estate and learn about coffee, pepper, cardamom, areca nut, coconut and various other fruit trees.
Nature walk: The drive to Casa Coorg is through the golf course. On one side of the estate is a hill with a pristine jungle and on the other are emerald green paddy fields and the golf course.
Bird watching: Casa Coorg is sandwiched between a thick jungle and open fields and is ideal for bird watching. More than forty avian species can be sighted in the estate.
7 km from Cafe Coorg Restaurant at Hunsur, take the left at the Y junction and drive past Gonikoppal towards Virajpet.
Approx 12 km after Gonikoppal, at Bittangala village, take the right opposite R K Farm
Drive for 2.3 km, past Coorg Golf Links and Ambatty Greens Resort to reach Casa Coorg.
