The Birder's Inn

The Birder's Inn is strategically located in tranquil and pristine surroundings, very close to the entrance of the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. The resort is known for its hospitality and comfort. Located a mere stone's throw from the entrance to the park, the privately owned lodge offers 20 spacious rooms that overlook a garden populated with fruit trees that attract various garden birds. The Birder's Inn is run by some of the best local naturalists; people who have spent a life time in the park.

Keoladeo Ghana National Park represents 64 families, 181 genera and 227 subspecies of birds. Besides, you can spot a wide variety of wild animals including three types of wildcats- the jungle cat, the leopard cat and the fishing cat-, Sambar, Chital, Blackbuck, Nilgai and wild boar among others.

You can also enjoy an exciting boat safari in Bharatpur National Park to explore the natural beauty of the park and spot a various exotic birds. An early morning or a late evening boat ride in the lake of the sanctuary can be an enchanting and rewarding experience for bird watchers. You can also hire a rickshaw to spot the birds in the park.

The nearest airport is situated at Agra, which is 56-kms from Bharatpur. Delhi is at a distance of 184 Kms from Bharatpur.

By Rail/ Train
Regular rail services connect Bharatpur with all major cities that are close by, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Agra.. The Bharatpur railway station is about 5 Kms from the park/bird sanctuary.

By Road
An excellent network of roads connects Bharatpur to all the major cities of Rajasthan and its neighboring states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana. Bharatpur is well connected by road from Agra (56-kms, 1 hour), Delhi (184-kms, 4 hours) and Jaipur (176-kms, 3 hours).
