Bhanwar Vilas Guest House

Bhanwar Vilas is the brainchild of Bhanwar Sharma, who is also known as the Architect of Tourism of Mewar. The property is a heritage guest house nurtured over the years accommodating backpackers across the globe.

Being one of the two guides in the city of Udaipur during early 20th century, Bhanwar Sharma was appointed by the royal court as an official interpreter for foreign dignitaries. His grandson Ashish Sharma took on Bhanwar Sharma's vision of acquainting tourists with Mewari culture and rich traditions of Udaipur while offering comfortable guest accommodation.

The guest house has been traditionally designed & furnished. There are 12 exquisitely decorated AC and Non-AC rooms. All the rooms are spacious and can comfortably accommodate a family. A panoramic view of sunrise and sunset can be witnessed from the rooftop. Even the famous Lake Pichola and a greater part of the city offers a view to behold and delight in.

The Guest House is maintained with perfect attention to hygiene. The traditional Indian vegetarian cuisine is served on Bajot (a traditional small table with short legs). The meals are enjoyed sitting on ground.
